No two platforms are alike when it comes to bushing replacement in landing
gear overhaul. Landing gear utilizing titanium materials on its first overhaul
can typically use MRO standard-size bushings as replacements
almost exclusively. Older platforms must take into account the effects of
corrosion on landing gear components, requiring application specific custom
sizing of bushings. More typically, many platforms require a combination of
both. That’s why 2Source offers flexible MRO specific solutions that meet
the complete range of our customers' landing gear bushing needs in supply,

platforms, in kits and as one-offs:
1. Fully Processed MRO Standard-size Bushings.
- 2Source has extensive knowledge and expertise in the unique
characteristics of the MRO landing
gear bushings bill of materials
for each aircraft platform.
- We manufacture bushings in accordance with our customers’ drawings and part numbers.
- We provide bushings machined to final dimensions and fully processed, ready for installation.
2. Unprocessed MRO Super-oversize Bushings.
- 2Source understands the complexity of corrosion on landing gear components and has developed an easy solution that covers all overhaul conditions.
- For use where corrosion prohibits replacement of bushings with MRO standard-size bushings.
- Uses 2Source Quick Finish Technology (patent pending) for final sizing, typically enabling final machining of OD and flange thickness in 2 minutes per bushing.
- We provide a set of reusable collets that virtually eliminate your lathe set-up times.
