customer lead times and costs. An important advantage for 2Source is how
we source, order and reclaim material. For starters, we buy directly from
the mills whenever possible.
That means we get the best possible prices and we are always guaranteed
material availability due to our strong direct partner relationships with
our sources.
Also of note is that we treat our scrap as a valuable resource. In general,
80% of incoming raw material ends up as chips. In many MRO operations
this is sold to a scrap dealer for cash with little consideration.
At 2Source, we segregate our chips, put them through a multi-stage cleaning
process and then resell to the mills at a premium.
