tooling systems that allow for the efficient and speedy machining of landing
gear bushings for use in the overhaul and rework of corrosion in landing
gear components.
For example, our proprietary Quick Finish Technology (patent pending) greatly
reduces the final machining time of a typical bushing to less than 3
minutes per part.
We generally buy our materials from the mills with the exact inner
and/or outer dimensions and lengths we require whenever possible. In
contrast, an MRO operation
will typically buy the closest size available
from a distributor.
This means an MRO not only ends up paying more for material than 2Source,
they also have more material to machine.
